On 6 June 2024, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis.
During the telephone conversation, cooperation issues between the two countries, the geopolitical situation in Europe and efforts undertaken by Switzerland, as well as the work carried out within the framework of Azerbaijan’s presidency of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) were discussed.
During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views was also conducted on regional issues of mutual interest.
