No:245/25, Press release on the phone call between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov
On 16 June 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov had a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.
During the phone conversation, the security situation in the region as a result of Israel-Iran escalation, issues arising from the alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as preparations for the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to be held in Istanbul on 21-22 June, were discussed.
