On 31 May 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the telephone conversation, bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues across various dimensions of the Azerbaijan–Pakistan strategic partnership agenda were discussed.
Satisfaction was expressed with the growing dynamics of mutual visits at the highest and high levels, and an exchange of views was held on future contacts, including preparations for the Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization to be hosted by Azerbaijan in July this year.
During the telephone conversation, the sides also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
