On 29 May 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with member of the United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Steve Daines.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan–United States relations, the importance of relations between legislative bodies, regional security issues, as well as the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided the Senator with information on the current situation and realities in the region in the post-conflict period, as well as the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process and the existing obstacles.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
