No:180/19, Information by the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the results of the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington (En/Ru)
The Azerbaijani side expresses its gratitude to the United States as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group for organizing a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on June 20 in Washington in continuation of earlier meetings in the same format in Paris and Moscow.
We believe that such meetings are positive and contribute to advancing the negotiation process.
The main topic of the meeting, which lasted for more than three hours, was the implementation of the agreements reached following the results of the previous ministerial meetings in Paris and Moscow.
At the Washington meeting, the co-chairs submitted for consideration by both sides the results-oriented proposals aimed at advancing the process of peaceful resolution of the conflict.
A common agreement was reached to hold the next meeting in the same format in the upcoming months.

Азербайджанская сторона выражает признательность США как сопредседателю МГ ОБСЕ за организацию встречи министров иностранных дел Азербайджана и Армении 20 июня в Вашингтоне в продолжение ранее проведенных встреч в таком же формате в Париже и Москве.
Считаем, что такого рода встречи носят положительный характер и способствуют развитию переговорного процесса.
В рамках продлившейся свыше трех часов встречи основной темой обсуждения стали вопросы реализации договоренностей, достигнутых по итогам предыдущих встреч министров в Париже и Москве.
На вашингтонской встрече сопредседатели представили на рассмотрение двух сторон ориентированные на достижение конкретных результатов предложения, нацеленные на продвижение процесса мирного урегулированию конфликта.
Было достигнуто общее согласие провести очередную встречу в этом же формате в ближайшие месяцы.
