No:137/25, Press release on the meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Gideon Sa’ar

On 8 April 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met in the city of Abu Dhabi with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Sa’ar.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, as well as the regional and global situation were discussed.
The development prospects of cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, trade, investment and humanitarian fields were discussed, and the role of the Joint Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Israel was noted.
The sides also emphasized the importance of strengthening the exchange of experience in the fields of high technologies, healthcare and education.
It was once again noted that our country supports the establishment of peace and stability in the Middle East region, including the process of resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict through peaceful means on the basis of the norms of international law.
The other side was also informed in detail about the current situation and realities in the region in the post-conflict period, the large-scale reconstruction and restoration works carried out in the territories liberated from occupation, efforts to combat the mine threat, as well as the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
