No:112/21, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Makhdoom Shah Mahmo
On March 30, 2021 in the framework of the 9th Ministerial Conference of the “Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process” held in Dushanbe a meeting was held between Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, including the prospects of cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and companies of Pakistan, as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
Noting the importance of expanding economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, the sides stressed the significance of holding the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Baku.
The Ministers also stressed the importance of developing inter-parliamentary relations.
The sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
