No:104/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the event and exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  

On March 11, 2022, an event and exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, employees of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the British Council.
 
Speaking at the event, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov noted the 30-year development of relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom in various fields, including political, economic, trade, cultural, educational and others, and stressed the strategic character of  relations between the two countries.
 
Then, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Lyall Sharp said that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom in various fields, including energy, continues successfully. While emphasizing the activities of BP and other British companies in Azerbaijan, the Ambassador noted with satisfaction Azerbaijan's contribution to Europe's energy security.
 
Speaking at the event, Baroness Emma Nicholson, the British Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan, conveyed her sincere congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.
 
At the end, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.
