On 28 February 2025, a telephone conversation held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ceyhun Bayramov, and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.
During the phone call, the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan-EU relations were reviewed, and regional and international security issues were discussed.
The sides emphasized that bilateral cooperation relations have broad potential and underlined the importance of intensifying political dialogue, including through the implementation of mutual visits, in order to advance issues on the agenda.
During the phone call, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
