A telephone conversation held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, Baiba Braže.
The ministers discussed the current military escalation and growing tension in the Middle East. It was noted that the further aggravation of the situation creates risks for security in a wide geography. The importance of resolving conflicts through diplomatic means and dialogue was emphasized.
During the call, the current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia was also reviewed, and prospects for their further development were discussed.
The Sides expressed satisfaction with the intensification of political dialogue, the continuation of high-level reciprocal visits, and the potential expansion of cooperation across various sectors.
Additionally, the parties exchanged views on other regional security matters of mutual concern.
