No:045/18, On the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission on demarcation of the state borders between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation
The 5th meeting of the Joint Commission on demarcation of the state borders between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation was held in Baku on February 21-22, 2018.
Within the framework of the Joint Commission on Demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, the first border marker was installed on both sides of the river Samur on Azerbaijan-Russia border.
At the meeting also discussed issues related to the further continuation of the demarcation process.
The meeting was held in the spirit of good-neighborliness and constructive dialogue.
The next meeting of the Joint Commission is planned to be held in Russian Federation. The dates of the meeting would be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
