No:022/21, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the visit of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to Turkmenistan
On January 21, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov paid a visit to Turkmenistan.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on joint exploration and exploitation of hydrogen resources of the “Dostlug” field in the Caspian Sea was signed by the Foreign Ministers of both countries.
During the visit, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov received Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also met with Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov in private, as well as in an expanded format with the participation of delegations.
