On 20 January 2026, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.
During the telephone conversation, bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as cooperation within the framework of international organizations, was discussed.
In addition, an exchange of views was held on regional security issues, the situation in the Middle East, as well as the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process.
