On 13 January 2026, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.
During the phone conversation, issues arising from the Azerbaijan–Türkiye alliance relations, cooperation within regional and international organizations, as well as the security situation in the region were discussed, satisfaction was expressed regarding the jointly coordinated actions between the two brotherly countries.
