Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Julio Sezar Cobos, former vice-president of Republic of Argentina and Juan de Dios Cincunegui, General Director of International Relations of Argentine Chamber of Deputies, who are attending the 5th Baku Global Forum.
During the meeting sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina and discussed promising fileds with regards to the development of bilateral cooperation. Particularly, it was emphasized that mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture, alternative and renewable energy resources, energy and infrasturucture sectors open a wide range of opportunities.
By noting high-level relationship on multirateral platforms between Azerbaijan and Argentina, importance of continuation of cooperation within UN was expressed.
At the end, regional and global issues of interest were discussed at the meeting.
