Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Kristian Vigenin, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Special Representative on the South Caucasus
At the meeting, the sides exchanged their views on the future perspecticves of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, regional issues, as well as the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
Giving brief update about the latest situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and the meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs in Vienna, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stressed inadmissibility of altering the internationally recognized borders of states by use of force. Furthermore, he added that for the resolution of conflict, first of all, armed forces of Armenia have to be withdrawn from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and the fact of occupation must be ended.
Kristian Vigenin emphasized the importance of increasing the support by parliaments for the peaceful settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
The sides exchanged views on the ways of developing the cooperation between Azerbaijan and OSCE PA, as well as the actual issues on the agenda of OSCE.
