Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Khalid Usman Qaiser, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Khalid Usman Qaiser, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan upon the termination of his diplomatic term.
At the meeting the sides commended the high level development of bilateral political relations based on friendship and partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. They noted the importance of high level reciprocal visits in the development of relations between our countries. The sides also mentioned the favorable opportunities for the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture, transportation, tourism and defense and stressed the need to increase the contacts between business communities of two countries via business forums.
Ambassador Khalid Usman Qaiser stated that he gave a prayer for the brave Azerbaijani martyrs who lost their lives during April clashes in 2016 and stressed that as a friendly and brotherly country, Pakistan feels pride for successes of Azerbaijan.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed appreciation for the support of Pakistan to the just position of Azerbaijan in relation to Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict based on principles of international law and the UN Charter. He also conveyed his the most sincere wishes to the brotherly People of Pakistan on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Ambassador Khalid Usman Qaiser expressed his gratitude for the support rendered to fulfill successfully his diplomatic activities in Azerbaijan.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his contributions to the development of relations between the two countries and wished every success in his future endeavors.
