Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with the delegation headed by Thomas Mayr-Harting, Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov pointed out that Azerbaijan pays special attention in deepening its relations with international and regional organizations and added that such kind of visits are important in terms of having comprehensive discussion on certain issues of mutual interest, challenges and perspectives, as well as mutual understanding.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his hope on forthcoming visit of Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, in further development of Azerbaijan-European Union relations.
At the meeting certain aspects of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union were thoroughly discussed.
