At the meeting, the sides had a broad exchange of views on the development of practical cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE, as well as the issues of the OSCE agenda.
Secretary General Lamberto Zannier expressed the OSCE’s determination to continue the practical cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Noting that Azerbaijan is also interested in the enhancement of practical cooperation, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov pointed out that in this regard the implementation of cooperation measures in the fields such as development of transport and energy corridors would be beneficial.
Saying that Azerbaijan remains ready for the substantive negotiations aimed at changing the current status-quo according to the spirit of the meetings held in Vienna and Sankt-Petersburg, E.Mammadyarov emphasized that Armenia pursues again a destructive and provocative policy to break the negotiations. Furthermore, he added that the military trainings and drills launched by Armenia in the occupied Aghdam region of Azerbaijan is a serious provocation aimed at undermining the negotiations process.
