As a result of intervention of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kyrgyz Republic "Nur Telecom" company operating under the “O!” trade mark in Kyrgyz Republic suspended its roaming agreement with "Karabakh Telecom", which illegally operates in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
“Nur Telecom” company on its letter dated 20th January 2015 addressed to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan expresses its regret for incorrect information provided in the website of the company and adds that immediate measures were undertaken by the company to remove this incorrect information.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to Azayev Vüsal Samidağa oğlu, citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his active civic position on this matter.
In 2013, at the intervention of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan roaming agreements of Megacom and BITEL telecom companies operating in Kyrgyz Republic with “Karabakh Telecom”, which illegally operates in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan were also suspended.
