Required documents

Letter from an applicant's media organization signed by the manager or the person substituting him/her;

Application form (can be filled out digitally);

Two 3x4-sized photos of the applicant (photo requirements);

Copy of a passport or other document permitting border crossing (copy of the ID card in case the journalist is a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan);

Copy of a service identification card (press card);

Biographic details (CV).
Documents required for the media accreditation can be submitted via:
- electronic accreditation (e-accreditation) system;
- post office;
- diplomatic representations and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
or in person.
Questions related to media accreditation must be addressed to media_accreditation@mfa.gov.az.
The documents are processed within 30 days starting from the date they are received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
