No:317/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili

On 22 July 2025, within the framework of his official visit to Georgia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues on the agenda of the Azerbaijan–Georgia strategic partnership, prospects for the development of bilateral relations in various fields, and regional security matters.
The dynamic development of comprehensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, covering energy, transport, trade, investment, environmental, and humanitarian fields, and its contribution to regional stability and prosperity were emphasized.
In the context of global and regional challenges, the relations between the two countries based on mutual respect for and support of sovereignty and territorial integrity were highly appreciated. In this regard, the importance of efforts to strengthen peace and cooperation in the South Caucasus was noted.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also provided information on the reconstruction and development process in the liberated territories, as well as on the normalization process with Armenia.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
