No:288/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Carlos Rafael Faría Tortosa
On June 17, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met online with the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Carlos Rafael Faría Tortosa.
The sides stressed the prospects for expanding cooperation between our countries in all areas and exchanged views on issues on the agenda. The Ministers expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov recalled the meetings held between the two countries within international organizations and stressed that fruitful discussions were held. He noted that on the basis of cooperation between Venezuela and Azerbaijan on a multilateral platform, including the Non-Aligned Movement and the UN, successful bilateral relations are being built. The importance of continuing the mechanism of political consultations in terms of advancing relations was also stressed.
Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Carlos Rafael Faría Tortosa noted that Venezuela is interested in expanding relations with Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
