On 7 June 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the telephone conversation, the sides discussed issues arising from the Azerbaijan–Pakistan partnership, as well as various aspects of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda.
Satisfaction was expressed with the growing dynamics of mutual visits at the high and highest levels. Issues arising from the discussions held within the framework of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan Summit held in the city of Lachin, including preparations for the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to be held in Istanbul on 21–22 June, as well as for the Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization to be hosted by Azerbaijan in July of the current year, were reviewed.
During the telephone conversation, the sides also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest.
