Satisfaction was expressed with the expanding high-level relations of Azerbaijan, particularly in recent times, with the Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan.

Alongside bilateral partnership in the fields of economy, trade, investments, energy security, transport and communications and others, it was brought to attention that cooperation within regional and international platforms, particularly within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, promises broad prospects.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, providing the other side with detailed information on the preparatory works related to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in our country this year, noted that COP29, in turn, is a new platform for cooperation.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, speaking about the current situation, opportunities and challenges in the region in the post-conflict period, expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for its support and active engagement in advancing the bilateral peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Against the backdrop of the latest agreement reached between the delimitation commissions, confidence was expressed that today’s negotiations will, in turn, contribute to the process.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
