On 12 April 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
During the meeting, political, economic-trade and humanitarian aspects of Azerbaijan–Russia relations, as well as regional and international security issues of mutual interest were discussed.
The importance of high-level and top-level visits and mutual contacts in terms of discussing issues on the cooperation agenda was emphasized.
It was noted that cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations, including trilateral and quadrilateral formats, is beneficial.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
