Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov recieved the delegation led by Ivan Barros Moreyra, Chair of Interparliamentary Friendship Group with Azerbaijan in Senate of Chile.
At the meeting the importance of mutual high-level visits and the continuation of bilateral political dialogue mechanism at the level Foreign Ministries in order to give an impetus to the development of cooperation between the two countries was noted.
Commending the role of Interparliamentary relations and activity of Friendship Group, Elmar Mammadyarov thanked the Chilean side for expressing support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan as well as adoption of document that recommended the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions with regard to Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
At the meeting they also discussed the ways for the development of economic relations between the two countries.
