No:616/22, Press release on phone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian
On December 31, 2022, a phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, and the minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
Ministers discussed issues of the bilateral agenda, in particular, the projects implemented within the framework of the agreements reached in the economic, trade, and transport spheres.
At the same time, the intention was expressed to intensify the work of the Azerbaijan-Iran State Commission on Economic, Trade, and Humanitarian Cooperation with the appointment of a new co-chair to the Commission from Iran.
The parties also discussed the situation in the region in the post-conflict period, as well as regional issues.
During the phone conversation, Ministers exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
