On 29 December, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov.
The sides exchanged views on various aspects of the brotherly, friendly, and allied relations between the two countries.
The ministers expressed confidence that, as in the current year, joint efforts to further develop the existing multifaceted cooperation between the two countries based on shared interests and values will continue in the coming year.
The sides also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
The ministers conveyed their sincere congratulations on the occasion of the upcoming New Year.
