No:481/21, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of the Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iceland Thordis Kolbrun Reykfjord Gylfadottir
On December 2, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iceland Thordis Kolbrun Reykfjord Gylfadottir within the framework of his participation in the 28th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on relations between the two countries, especially on the prospects of developing cooperation in the field of alternative energy.
Noting that Iceland has extensive experience in this field, it was stressed that companies of İceland are ready to operate in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed issues of cooperation within international organizations, including the OSCE.
At the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
