On 4 December 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, on the sidelines of the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council held in Vienna.
During the meeting, the dynamic development of Azerbaijan–Georgia strategic partnership relations in all areas was positively assessed, and it was noted that cooperation based on friendship, mutual support, and good neighborliness plays an important role in ensuring stability and development in the region.
The sides exchanged views on bilateral economic and trade relations, including joint strategic projects implemented to date in the fields of energy and transport-logistics. The strategic importance of strengthening transport and communication corridors in the region for the prosperity of both countries, as well as the entire region, was emphasized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information on the peace process following the Washington Summit. It was highlighted that the agreements reached in Washington constitute an important turning point for advancing the peace agenda in the region, and Azerbaijan’s expectations within this framework were conveyed.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
