On 4 December 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, Espen Barth Eide, on the sidelines of the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council held in Vienna.
During the meeting, the current state of Azerbaijan–Norway bilateral relations was reviewed, and opportunities for ensuring the continuity of political dialogue and expanding the cooperation agenda were discussed. The importance of long-term partnership in the energy sector was emphasized.
The counterpart was informed about the new realities that have emerged in the South Caucasus region following the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the normalization process with Armenia.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
