No:425/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the NATO delegation

On 6 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the NATO delegation visiting our country.
The delegation includes the Permanent Representatives of Türkiye, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Spain to NATO, as well as the Deputy Permanent Representatives of the United States and France to NATO.
During the meeting, key aspects of the Azerbaijan-NATO cooperation agenda, as well as regional and international security issues, and the current state and prospects of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, speaking about the history of occupation and the existing security situation in the region in the post-conflict period, informed the ambassadors about the agreements reached within the framework of the Washington Summit, peace prospects, and plans regarding transport corridors in the region. In addition, the mine threat in the region was brought to attention.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
