No:384/21, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda Abubaker Jeje Odongo
On October 12, 2021, within the framework of a high-level meeting dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda Abubaker Jeje Odongo.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uganda, as well as cooperation within international organizations.
The Ministers, having discussed the chairmanship of Uganda in the Non-Aligned Movement at the end of 2023 and, in this regard, issues of cooperation between the two countries decided to hold political consultations between Uganda and Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
