On 30 September 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the Senior Advisor of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the United States Department of State Wyatt Tolke and the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy Amy Carlon.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan-United States relations, issues arising from the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Strategic Working Group for the preparation of the Strategic Partnership Charter, the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process and the implementation of the Washington agreements within this framework, as well as regional and international security issues of mutual interest were discussed.
It was noted that mutual visits carried out by officials and representatives of the two countries occupy an important place in the development of relations.
During the meeting, an exchange of views also took place on other issues of mutual interest.
