No:382/21, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan
On October 12, 2021, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziev within the framework of the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade.
During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of bilateral relations between the two countries, emphasizing that there are favorable opportunities for further development and expansion of these relations in various directions.
The importance of expanding economic and trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was stressed at the meeting.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about the extensive restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. The sides discussed issues of joint cooperation in various fields, including the restoration of cultural heritage.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
