No:332/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Head of the ICRC Representation in Azerbaijan Dragana Kojic

On 1 August 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the Head of the Representation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Azerbaijan, Dragana Kojic, whose mission is concluding, on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic activity in the country.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Ms. Dragana Kojic for her efforts in developing cooperation during her tenure in Azerbaijan and wished her success in her future endeavors.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the 33-year activity of the ICRC in Azerbaijan, the current state and prospects of the Azerbaijan–Armenia peace process, reconstruction and restoration efforts carried out in the liberated territories, the mine threat, and the fate of missing persons.
The other side expressed satisfaction with the support and cooperation provided by the Government of Azerbaijan for the organization’s activities. It was emphasized that cooperation with the ICRC through its headquarters in Geneva will remain important even after the Representation ceases its activities in early September this year.
