No:325/25, Press release on the telephone conversation of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan

On 25 July 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.
During the telephone conversation, issues arising from the Azerbaijan–Türkiye allied relations, cooperation within regional and international organizations, as well as the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process were discussed. In addition, security challenges observed at the regional and international levels were reviewed.
It was noted with satisfaction that the allied relations based on Azerbaijan–Türkiye brotherhood are successfully continuing at all levels and across all platforms.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart in detail about the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process and its various aspects, the current situation and prospects regarding the peace agreement, as well as existing obstacles and efforts aimed at addressing them.
During the telephone conversation, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
