No:309/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Azerbaijan

On 15 July 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Pauline Eizema, on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission in the country.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Ambassador Pauline Eizema for her effective diplomatic activity in the country and wished her success in her future endeavors.
During the meeting, issues on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, as well as the current situation and realities in the region in the post-conflict period, were discussed.
The importance of mutual visits, contacts within the framework of various international events, and the mechanism of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for discussing the current state and prospects of bilateral relations was noted.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side about the existing situation and realities in the region, as well as the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Ambassador Pauline Eizema emphasized that she would always remember her nearly five-year tenure as the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan and expressed her gratitude for the support provided during her mission.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
