On June 17, 2022, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
The Ministers exchanged views on topical issues of the bilateral agenda.
Discussing the current situation in the region, including the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the sides stressed the importance of full implementation of trilateral statements.
In the telephone conversation, it was agreed to continue discussions during the visit of the Russian Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan.
