No:259/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the participants of the Azerbaijan-Europe Media Forum
On May 27, 2022, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with participants of the Azerbaijan-Europe Media Forum.
The meeting was attended by 22 representatives of media agencies from 9 countries, including Türkiye, Great Britain, Hungary, Greece, Germany, France, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told the media representatives about Azerbaijan's foreign policy priorities and role in the region, including the policy of aggression that Azerbaijan has faced since the first day of the restoration of its independence, as well as its consequences, the 44-day war that resulted in the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity in 2020, the current situation in the region, especially about the steps taken to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the implementation of agreements reached during the leaders' meetings in Brussels, including the preparation of a peace agreement, delimitation of the border and the opening of communications. The Minister shared with the participants Azerbaijan's views on ensuring peace, security and development in the region.
Then the Foreign Minister answered numerous questions from the media representatives.
