No:228/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia
On May 12, 2022, on the sidelines of the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers, a meeting was held in Dushanbe between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the situation in the region and issues related to the implementation of trilateral statements.
The sides exchanged views on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including the start of the delimitation process of the state border, the opening of all transport and communication lines, the conclusion of a peace agreement between the two countries.
The sides stressed the importance of implementing the agreements reached to ensure peace and security in the region.
