No:169/26, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov

On 18 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan relations at the level of strategic alliance in all fields, and joint efforts aimed at further developing the friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries were discussed.
Joint activities and projects carried out to further expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, transport, energy, culture and humanitarian areas were reviewed.
At the meeting, the importance of mutual support and cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, the United Nations, the Organization of Turkic States, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as regional platforms was emphasized.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on regional developments, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.
