No:106/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev
On March 11, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev in the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
During the meeting, the Ministers discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, cooperation within international organizations, as well as regional security.
Expressing satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations, the Ministers stressed the high level of political dialogue between the two countries.
The sides also agreed to expand the bilateral legal framework and strengthen cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, cultural and other fields. It was noted that the reciprocal visits of the heads of state and the negotiations play a special role in the development of relations between our countries.
The sides noted that the holding of a meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the two countries, as well as the implementation of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs will further give impetus to the development of relations.
Then, the sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest, including regional and international security issues.
