On March 5, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
During the telephone conversation, the Pakistani side expressed deep concern regarding the drone attack against the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was emphasized that such actions, which could lead to a wider escalation in the region, are unacceptable.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stressed that Azerbaijan expects the Islamic Republic of Iran to promptly clarify the incident and provide an appropriate explanation.
The ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
