On 15 February 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Timčo Mucunski within the framework of his participation in the Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, prospects for bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia were discussed.
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the level of existing cooperation between the two countries and emphasized that the intensification of high-level visits, continuous political dialogue and contacts between relevant institutions is important for identifying new directions of partnership and elevating cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
The ministers touched upon the availability of opportunities to develop economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia in the fields of energy, tourism and other areas.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side about the situation in our region in the post-conflict period and the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest between the two countries.
