On 29 January 2026, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the call, the sides discussed the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE, cooperation within international organizations, as well as the regional and international security situation.
