Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met with Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye
Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met with Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye in Ramsar on April 5 on the sidelines of Trilateral Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan – Türkiye – Iran.
In the meeting Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov informed about the current situation in the frontline and the provocations of Armenian armed forces, as well as targeting civilians densely residing using artillery and heavy weapons in the territories adjacent to the frontline area.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Azerbaijan and the families of military and civilians, who lost their lives. He stated that this conflict must be solved by peaceful means within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the regional issues of mutual interest.
