Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the sidelines of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current status and development prospects of cooperation between the two countries. Ministers also stressed the favorable opportunities for further development of cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, humanitarian and culture between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
Ministers noted that Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Türkiye trilateral cooperation format contributes to further development of our relations. In this regard, the sides discussed the agenda of upcoming meetings of the Energy and Foreign Ministers with the trilateral format.
