Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohammed Al -Dairi who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, traditional friendly relations between Azerbaijani and Libyan People and the perspectives to further cooperation in political, economic and energy fields were stressed.
Elmar Mammadyarov underlined that Azerbaijan wishes to see peace and stability upheld in Libya soon. He stressed the importance of strengthening of solidarity within Islamic Ummah. .
Delighted to be in Azerbaijan, Mahammad Al-Dairi mentioned the importance of III Baku Global Forum.
Stating the importance of looking at the experience of Azerbaijan more closely, he pointed out that economic, social, infrastructure and other projects implemented in Azerbaijan serve to the well-being of the nation. He noted that the affluent experience of Azerbaijan in the sphere of oil education is in the interest of Libya.
